DSABV’s Purposeful Life Workshops help teens and adults with Down syndrome build practical life skills, confidence, and independence. Through interactive, hands-on sessions, participants learn essential skills that promote personal growth and prepare them for everyday life and community engagement.

Workshops focus on practical, real-life skills, including:
Personal care and hygiene
Meal prep and kitchen safety
Communication and social interaction
Financial literacy and money management
Problem-solving and decision-making
Workplace readiness and vocational skills
Participants receive hands-on instruction, mentorship from trained facilitators, and opportunities to practice in a safe, supportive environment. Workshops are designed to promote independence, confidence, and a sense of purpose.
