Events
The Down Syndrome Association of Brazos Valley (DSABV) hosts events throughout the year that bring families together, celebrate individuals with Down syndrome, and strengthen our inclusive community. From educational workshops and family socials to major fundraising celebrations like the Dream Big Gala, Dad's Night, and our Dash for Down Syndrome (Buddy Walk) and 5K Run, every event supports our mission to Educate. Advocate. Celebrate.
Looking ahead, our community can look forward to Dad's Night on August 27, the return of Respite Care in September, and a 5K Run with sign-ups opening soon, followed by new fall dates for Teen Nights. We are also excited to announce the official Save the Dates for our cornerstone celebrations: Buddy Walk 2026 on October 24, 2026 and Gala 2027 on April 3, 2027.
Our events are designed for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages, their families, volunteers, and community supporters. Many activities remain free for DSABV families thanks to the generous support of sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.
